Let's help a Canberra girl WIN!!!

Addicted To Fabric - Wednesday, August 27, 2014

You know we love it when customers show us what they've been making right? And we also love to support locals where we can. Well, check this out, Crystal's original design "The Washi Bag":

Crystal came into the store recently to purchase a stack of supplies for bag making and let us in on her plans for her most recent Sew-Vivor challenge. Don't know what Sew-Vivor is? Well neither did we but we've since found out it's a BIG deal. It's an online reality sewing competition loosely based on the TV series Survivor where contestants submit work for challenges and can be voted through to the next round. Half the points come from the Tribal Council (judges) and the other half from the voting public.

And that's where you can help! Head over to the family ever after blog and vote for Crystal, let's put the full support of A2F customers behind one of our very own local talents. Be sure to comment on our Facebook post about the challenge letting us know you've voted - voting closes at 11am Thursday so don't wait.

Oh, and Crystal has already started working on the next challenge - she popped in on Saturday to stock up on supplies and we can tell you with the selections she made, it's going to be epic! The theme is hexagons and today she shared a sneak peek of her in-progress design with us - let's get her through this round so you can see it too!
