Winter Sewing

Addicted To Fabric - Wednesday, May 18, 2016

The cooler weather is upon us and we have lots of new fabrics and projects in store to inspire you.  We have  a good range of wonderful wools and wool blends in a variety of textures, plains, prints and some lovely new tartans.  Our boiled wools have proved very popular and are selling fast.

We have a new Keep It Simple Sewing Class staring in July for those who are new to sewing or for those who want to sharpen up their dressmaking skills.  This class with Sylvia Clough has been very popular and the July class is already more than half booked so do jump in if you are interested.  You will learn the simple techniques of making a skirt, pants and top over six evenings using the wonderful Tessuti patterns.  We have also just recently received four new Tessuti patterns in store - The Helga skirt, Demi pant, Silva shirt/jacket and the Brooklyn coat.
